May 19, 1969 - Sunday July 31, 2011

Father Jose was born on May 19, 1969 in Garzon, Huila, Colombia where he lived  prior to coming to Canada in 1994. Father Jose was blessed with ten siblings, two of which are also Ardorini Priests, one of which, Father Ismael, was pastor of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Toronto for eight years.  Father Jose's calling from God was unexpected.   His family already had two priests and he had just applied to university in hopes of becoming an Electronic Engineer.  It was through his Prayer Group that he found the joy of meeting God and a desire to share that joy with as many people as possible.

Father Jose studied Philosophy at the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Garzon and Theology in Toronto at the Toronto School of Theology.  He then went back to Colombia in 2000 to be ordained in the presence of his family.  He returned to Toronto to serve at St. Thomas Aquinas for one year and consequently in Colombia again for seven months.  On his return to Canada in 2002 he was assigned to St. Margaret Mary

Church.  In Autumn 2009, Father Jose accepted the position of Pastor.  He was the Spiritual Director for the Hispanic Cursillo Movement.  He was also dedicated to his ministry work among the Migrant Workers/Farmers from Mexico.

Father Jose's passion beyond his religious calling included technology and music.  in recent years he also took lessons to play the organ.  He was an avid reader especially on subjects dealing with spirituality.  Father Jose found immense satisfaction counselling those in distress.  He always focused on a spiritual solution and rejoiced in helping his charges find the right path.

Father Jose's natural disposition allowed him to "Quietly Serve God".

On this very sad day of his passing from our world, we have faith and take some comfort that he has been welcomed into God's Kingdom.

Rest in Peace.
